I have had this problem for years and I am sure others may have it also. I am forever straightening the art on my walls because somehow they seem to like to move around. Do you have a solution to this problem? I would like to finally show them who's the boss around here!

Hi Eileen,

Thanks so much for being a loyal subscriber and for asking a great question. Yes, it's a common challenge. The slightest vibration in your home...someone walking, a dog running, etc. can result in crooked art and picture frames.

We have a lot of artwork and photo frames on our walls. Rather than using nails, we use Command Strips whenever possible (just be sure you buy those that will support the weight of your photo frame or artwork.) We actually put the Command Strips in all four corners of the frame or art, and once they're secured, there is no movement at all. Plus, Command Strips come off most surfaces cleanly, with no need for any holes in your wall.

Alternately, some folks have had a lot of success with non-slip cabinet bumpers. Just stick a bumper onto the two bottom corners of your picture frame, and your frame or art should hold in place using this method as well. Hope this helps.
