New Newsletter Format
Thanks so much to those of you who replied to yesterday's newsletter about the
new font size I'm using. 99.9% of you loved it, so the bigger font is here to
stay.
That being said, a few of you mentioned an issue you were having with text
wrapping around pictures incorrectly and/or text going behind pictures. That's
not good... and we haven't found a solution to that as of yet.
With everyone using different browsers, computers, laptops, phones, tablets,
email programs, versions of email programs, etc., it's definitely a bit of a
technical challenge.
But please be assured we ARE working on that issue.
And as always, please write to me when you are having an issue so we can do
what we can to get it figured out. If you can send a screen shot of whatever
problem you're seeing (and let us know if you're using your desktop, laptop,
tablet, phone, etc.), even better.
I appreciate every note!

3 Fabulous GON Reader Organizing Tips
Every time I open my email inbox, it's loaded with wonderful GON reader tips.
Enjoy these three today.
Dear Maria,
My life just got so much easier! When it was time to take care of business, I
used to hunt around for all my different tasks--Where did I put that bill?
Where's that article I want to ask my doctor about? What did I do with that form
I have to fill out? Is my online shopping list upstairs or downstairs?
Now I have a decorative, expandable file folder containing all of the day's
business, with the date on a sticky note attached to the cover. If I don't
finish everything, I just replace the note with tomorrow's date. Saves so much
time and hassle!
This fabulous GON reader tip was submitted by: Claudia Schulte
NOTE FROM MARIA: Good variation to the concept of an 'Action Folder.' The
addition of the sticky note on the cover, with the current date, is a very nice,
organized touch.
One easy tip I use is to empty the paper shredder the day I vacuum the floors.
That way, any mess is easily cleaned up without getting out the vacuum cleaner
an additional time. Maria, thanks for helping us get and stay organized, so we
have time for the major things in life!
This fabulous GON reader tip was submitted by: N.J. Johnson
NOTE FROM MARIA: Along these same lines, always think what might make a
mess, before vacuuming. For instance, vacuuming always follows dusting. I also
don't empty a 3-hole punch tool until right before I plan to vacuum.
To keep track of what is purchased and when packages will be delivered, I have
an email folder named 'pending deliveries/action' where all orders go until
received. I own a small business and have many packages delivered weekly. This
helps me keep track of what I should be expecting. Once I get them, I file them
further and/or delete them. There have been some that weren't delivered and I
had to track them and call the company. It works quite well.
This fabulous GON reader tip was submitted by: Jennifer S.
NOTE FROM MARIA: It's definitely much easier to recall what items haven't
arrived if you have a good record of what you ordered. In addition, sometimes,
you might 'think' you ordered something, but didn't, even though you meant to.
When you place an online order, immediately drag that confirmation email into
your Pending Deliveries/Action virtual folder. If you're wondering if you
ordered, you just have to open that one folder to find out.

Some people are eternally happy no matter what their situation. Others find it a
constant struggle to find happiness. Most folks are somewhere in between both of
these.
Throughout the years, I have determined that the happiest people in the world
are not just happy 'by chance,' but because they've taken specific actions in
their lives. Once you know and apply these actions, you'll be able to harness
and release the happiness that is deep within you.
Whether you're looking for just a little more happiness or a whole lot, my
Happy for Life resource includes the information you need to multiply your
happiness levels. For more details, including the three factors that
contribute most to increasing your level of happiness in your life, visit:

___ 2. Say goodbye to a pair of shoes or two. Most people have at least a
few pairs of shoes that are never worn. They may pinch, cause blisters, or
result in some other discomfort. They may not fit correctly. Perhaps they don't
match with anything you ever wear. Donate them and don't allow them to take up
any more unnecessary space in your closet.
___ 3. Read the results. GON readers recently voted on, `What do you
enjoy most...reading, watching, or listening?' Visit
