  Organizing Thought of the Day

3 Lessons Learned as Our Lives Return to Normal

While enjoying lunch at a restaurant recently with six friends, the subject of what the global pandemic had taught us came up.

Four friends decluttered their attics and closets...and tackled some other major projects as well. One friend painted her entire home herself. Another friend and her husband now have a finished basement, and they tackled that project themselves (with a bit of help from their teenagers) as well.

Each person agreed she learned some important organizing lessons that resulted in less clutter, less mindless shopping, and less wasted money. Here are three definitely worth mentioning.

1. Enjoy what you have...now. Don't save things for 'someday.' Use them now and enjoy them. Feeling less sure of the future, all agreed how important it is to enjoy (and appreciate) our things...rather than stowing them away for 'a special occasion.' We all agreed that every day should be a reason to celebrate.

2. Our 'real' needs are few. We weren't always able to get what we needed or wanted when the pandemic was at its height. We had to 'live without' in many cases. And we survived. We made do. We became more flexible because we had no other choice. As we all shop in the future, that's a lesson that's easy to carry forward. Living a more minimalist, frugal, flexible lifestyle is do-able!

3. Plan for today...and tomorrow. Each friend said she would never again get down to one roll of toilet paper or a single container of disinfecting wipes. Everyone there said they'd always have plenty of non-perishables in their pantries. When things are good, running down to the very last tissue in the box or can of corn is not generally that big of a deal. But if there's one thing we all learned...what we have today may not be guaranteed tomorrow. So, always try to stay 'ahead of the game' and think ahead to tomorrow.

None of the above are new lessons, but they may be practices we had not seriously thought of, or engaged in, before. As we move away from the pandemic and back to normal, these are all good lessons to keep fresh in our minds and actions.

  This Week's Recommendation

Have you ever wanted to sing
or to sing better?

Discover how easy it is with...

Singorama

Whether you're a beginner or intermediate singer
you'll discover how to take your singing voice
to the next level...fast, effective, and FUN!

For super quick details on how you can sing better than you ever imagined, visit:

http://www.getorganizednow.com/rd-singing.html

Have you ever found yourself alone, singing a song...maybe out of tune... only to realize a co-worker or family member listening and making fun of your ability? Or maybe it was an insensitive joke, like: 'Don't give up your day job.'

We shrug these things off and pretend they don't bother us, but it hurts and it ruins our joy of singing.

On the other hand, you may be very excited to know that, within a matter of weeks, you could...

Sing so incredibly well and with such power and expression, that when people listened to your voice, they felt goosebumps and welled up with emotional tears?

This leads me to something really good that I know you're going to love. If you've ever wanted to learn how to sing (or to sing better), this singing course is head and shoulders above the rest...it's called Singorama.

Learn how to:

* Sing with effortless strength
* Increase your vocal range by at least an octave
* Sing with beautiful tone and perfect pitch
* Hit those high notes without any cracks
* And so much more...(just visit the link and see for yourself!)

P.S. Sing like an angel with the confidence of a rock star! PLUS, it comes with WONDERFUL complimentary bonuses too. Don't delay...I'll remind you only up until July 9th! Visit:
