  Organizing Thought of the Day

Sometimes One Is Not Enough

Organizing is not always about getting rid of things. Sometimes, the more you have of something, the easier your life could be.

For example, in my house, we have nine pairs of scissors--one in my office, one in my husband's office, one in the kitchen, one in the basement, one in my teen's bedroom, two with my crafting supplies, and one in each of the bathrooms. Because of this, whenever we have to use a pair of scissors, we don't have to go from one room to another to retrieve them. They're already in the rooms/places where we need them the most.

The same goes for household cleaners. We have disinfectant, glass cleaner, air freshener, and toilet bowl cleaner in each bathroom. Cleaning can be done so much quicker when all the cleaning supplies are available right where you need them to be.

If you find you're constantly spending lots of time borrowing things from one room to be used in another, consider just getting duplicates of those items, and store them where they're used most often.

Of course, be careful about this. It's not a good thing to have multiple items of something you rarely or never use, like a dozen empty storage containers gathering dust, six hammers that haven't seen the light of day, or a cabinet stuffed with mugs that you 'might use someday.' Any of those scenarios is just going to end up in a ton of clutter.

  This Week's Recommendation

Have you ever wanted to sing
or to sing better?

Discover how easy it is with...

Singorama

Discover how to take your singing voice
to the next level...fast, effective, and FUN!

For super quick details on how you can sing better than you ever imagined, visit:

http://www.getorganizednow.com/rd-singing.html

Have you ever found yourself alone, singing a song...maybe out of tune... only to realize a co-worker or family member listening and making fun of your ability? Or maybe it was an insensitive joke, like: 'Don't give up your day job.'

We shrug these things off and pretend they don't bother us, but it hurts and it ruins our joy of singing.

On the other hand, you may be very excited to know that, within a matter of weeks, you could...

Be singing so incredibly well, with power and expression...that you'll not only thoroughly impress your friends and family, but feel amazing about yourself and your ability as well!

This leads me to something really good that I know you're going to love. If you've ever wanted to learn how to sing (or to sing better), this singing course is head and shoulders above the rest...it's called Singorama.

Learn how to:

* Sing with effortless strength

* Increase your vocal range by at least an octave

* Sing with beautiful tone and perfect pitch

* Hit those high notes without any cracks

* And so much more...(just visit the link and see for yourself!)

P.S. WONDERFUL complimentary bonuses, that you're going to LOVE, come with this resource. Don't delay...I'll remind you up until Friday, September 17! Visit:

  Take Action

___ 1. Do today's task on my September Monthly Organizing Checklist. The September 15 TO DO focuses on your garden. Visit GetOrganizedNow.com to access my September Monthly Organizing Checklist.

___ 2. Assess how much 'back and forth' you're doing. Do you have items in your home placed where they are normally used, or are you walking back and forth between rooms to get what you need? Consider moving items closer that are placed too far away from where you use them, or have duplicates of certain items (reading glasses, scissors, flashlights, etc.) in the rooms where they're used.

___ 3. Check out the results! GON readers responded to, `What time of day do you have the most energy?' Here are the results of that poll, along with some GON reader comments. Visit GetOrganizedNow.com to access the results.
