Fabulous Organizing Tips and Thoughts
from GON Readers
Here are a bunch of tips and thoughts from GON Readers to brighten your day...
Easier time getting rid of stuff and identifying
I've started to mark the labels of new clothing items with the month and year
they were purchased. I've always had a hard time getting rid of items that I
may have had for a long time, but still look presentable.
Now when I look at the date on the label, I don't feel bad when I see that I've
had that shirt for 2 years. I use a permanent laundry marker on the label. I'm
the only one who sees it.
Another hint I have is also using a laundry marker on labels. I put my
husband's initials on his shirts and shorts so I can easily tell them apart
from those of my son's. A quick glance when folding the clothes makes sure
everything is in the right pile to be put away.
I also use the same system with my daughter's and my underwear. We have many
items that are very similar and this way we don't get them mixed up.

Our organized lunch system
When my kids were young, my husband often prepared our boys' lunches for
school. I set up an organized system using small bins.
In the freezer (bin 1) were ready-made sandwiches--a half sandwich for the
younger child and a whole sandwich for the older child.
In the pantry (bin 2) was a Tupperware container with a fruit selection--
applesauce, fruit cups, etc.
In the fridge was the yogurt box (bin 3).
And finally, in the cupboard was the dessert box (bin 4) with granola bars,
pudding cups, or other sweet and/or healthy treats.
When my husband prepared the lunches, all he had to do was grab one item from
each bin per child, and add in the milk. In fact, it was so simple that my then
eight year old was able to get both his and his brothers' lunches ready!

Keeping renovation and decorating ideas organized
Instead of keeping hundreds of home renovation and decorating magazines, I
purchased a couple of accordion file folders. I came up with categories and
labeled the dividers. I then clip the articles I wish to save, and fill the
accordion file folders with them.
I have sections for each room, do it yourself tips, overall (some articles have
multiple rooms), gardening, and a section for 'if I win the lottery'--this
section is filled with the things that I would do if I had lots of money.
The whole thing takes up less room and allows me to sort quickly when I am
taking on a project.

Have you ever found yourself alone, singing a song...maybe out of tune... only
to realize a co-worker or family member listening and making fun of your
ability? Or maybe it was an insensitive joke, like: 'Don't give up your day
job.'
We shrug these things off and pretend they don't bother us, but it hurts and
it ruins our joy of singing.
On the other hand, you may be very excited to know that, within a matter of
weeks, you could...
Be singing so incredibly well, with power and expression...that you'll not only
thoroughly impress your friends and family, but feel amazing about yourself and
your ability as well!
This leads me to something really good that I know you're going to love. If
you've ever wanted to learn how to sing (or to sing better), this singing course

___ 3. Prevent bad breath. Bad breath is caused by the bacteria that
gathers around the pockets of your teeth. Eventually these bacteria lead to bad
